Last I showed you I was hanging with Kelly Kapowski in my bathroom. Paint was just the first step. You could probably guess the next step if you saw my son's bathroom upgrade recently. Let me refresh your memory.
Seriously why do builders have to put this color brown in? Was the deeper brown or white trim all sold out? Yuck. Our whole house has the brown nasty eyesore. Room-by-room we plan to get rid of it all. The master bath was the next step. Paint on walls and then paint the trim was the plan.
This time I prepped with good old sanding instead of the liquid sanding I tried in my son's room. It was messy but I found that I only needed two coats of paint instead of four in my son's room. Mental note- sand the tried and true method. In the end it is worth it.
Notice ole brown nasty glory called- Bad Trim.

So we taped. And we prepped. And we taped some more.

Looking nice really after the makeover. The blue is soothing for the bathroom.
